Meet the Team

Experience:

I grew up in Mukwonago, WI and found myself always having animals around growing up and with a love of animals coming from all that were around me it was only fitting for me to continue with this passion and found myself volunteering at HAWS in high school. After going to UW-Oshkosh for a degree in Biology I found myself doing an internship at the Wildlife In Need Center in Oconomowoc and after graduating in 2018 I started working as a part-time employee for the summer. While working part-time at WINC I decided I wanted to pursue a career in working with dogs and cats again like I did at HAWS and started working in the field in 2018 as a vet assistant. I have since been able to obtain my associates degree from San Juan College for being Veterinary Technician and have devoted my time to helping pets feel better, giving comfort to the scared pets, and to help owners understand what we can do to help them and their furry friends. Since working at Summit Animal Clinic I have been able to expand my knowledge of not only how to medically help patients but also how to make them feel safe and secure being here and how to help their owners feel the same.

Pets:

I have never been without a furry companion in my life and have always had a passion for exotics, dogs, and cats. I grew up having cocker spaniels and golden retrievers as dog companions and a rag doll as a cat in my parents’ home. My personal pets growing up consisted of a bunny, leopard gecko, and an assortment of fish. Since starting a family of my own I have been able to get my own golden retriever, Luna, and adopted my husband’s Pembroke Welsh Corgi, Jarvis. Together we adopted a black kitten from HAWS, Duckie, to complete our fur family.

Family:

I married my amazing husband Josh and have welcomed two amazing boys into this world together. Owen and Mason have been the pieces that complete our family and have made our lives that much better.

Hobbies:

When I am not chasing my boys around the house I enjoy going outside and enjoying the sun by either going swimming or going on a nice hike. I also, enjoy doing amateur photography, playing soccer, and playing on my gaming computer with my husband and friends.
