Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology from Madison Area Techinical College. Certified in the state of Wisconsin for Veterinary Technician.
I started working at Summit & Heritage Animal Clinic's in March of 1994 as a Certified Veterinary Technician. You will find me assisting in exam rooms, surgical procedures, and answering any questions or concerns. I also work as a farm hand for my family farm and a friend's farm which includes dairy, beef, horse and cash crop operations. Daily chores, milking cows, vaccinating Holstein & Hereford cows and calves for yearly health care. Breaking youg draft horses to drive, driving older draft horses for exercise, parades, hayrides, horse shows and wedding rides. Trimming horses and cows feet. Shoeing horses for parades and horse shows. Driving tractor and horses for field work.
Flip- Border Collie, Twist- Belgian Sheepdog, and JD- Standard Schnauzer. I also have 4 house cats, 6 barn cats, Belgian Draft Horses, Quarter Horses, a Miniature Donkey, Suffolk Sheep, Holstein steers, Pigs, Chickens and Tropical Fish.
My Mother (Sally), Sister (Wendy) and I have a 54 acre hobby farm. Which takes up alot of our free time.
Riding our light horses on trails, parades, outriding with our draft horses for parades, or wedding rides. Driving and showing our Belgian draft horses in the evenings, weekends, and at local horse shows. Every spring, summer, and fall I like spending my off time relaxing on a tractor doing some type of field work.
